C Diff is a bacteria that spreads through something called “spores” which is an inactive form of C Diff. The spores are very hardy and can survive on objects and surfaces for very long periods of time, making it easier for the bacteria to spread. C. Diff spores are easily ingested by touching your mouth after you’ve touched a contaminated surface or object.
